Tour de Vines’ cycling holidays Italy are made for the Italian addict. Our tours seek out the genuine Italian experience, from the food, to the hidden villages and local regional cultures, and of course the wine!
Cycling in Italy is also an encounter with natural beauty. Italy is a mountainous land, and whilst we avoid the serious cycling climbing reserved for the professionals, the mountains do make for stunning scenery. Of course there are also hills and some of these we will cycle, but fear not as our support vehicle is never far away. The rolling hills of Tuscany and Umbria, or the distant jagged peaks of the Alps, either way Italy’s beauty will not disappoint.
When designing our cycling holidays in Italy, we thought long and hard. Our goal was to avoid the major tourist hot spots and to provide an authentic Italian experience, all whilst navigating a route that was safe, relatively easy and provided the rolling postcard that Italy is famous for. We think we have achieved that with the cycling itineraries we have put together. We use a local Italian operator for on ground support, an Italian family business who have been running and supporting cycling holidays in Italy for over 30 years.
