Tour de Vines deliberately runs small group cycling tours. Most of our tours have a maximum of 16 and many have smaller limits.

On this Danube Cycling Tour the group size maximum is 16 riders, plus your guide and support driver.

Are E-bikes available on this Danube Cycling Tours?

Accepted Answer

Whilst we grade this tour as easy, as the cycling is almost entirely flat throughout, there is the option for you to ride an e-bike, and why not!

Quality standard and step through e-bikes are available. Be aware these are sourced from a quality assured 3rd party locally. E-bikes are very popular on cycling tours in Europe, and so stock can run low at peak times.

E-bikes must be booked in advance and we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid missing out!

Is there a support vehicle or sag wagon available whilst riding?

Yes, this tour is fully supported and includes a ride with guide as well as a support vehicle that follows throughout the day. You are welcome to use the support vehicle at any stage the riding becomes too much.

We would recommend using a e-bike if concerned about the riding or distances or any hills (there are very few small hills) as this will make the ride categorised as easy, and your ride much more enjoyable.
