What’s Ahead for Cycling Tours in 2026
Firstly thanks to all our amazing guests that travelled with us over the last year, and in the past, we can’t wait for you to return again.
We hope you are all well and healthy as you look forward to an exciting 2026, as we are.
A short update from me here at Tour de Vines on just a few of the exciting initiatives we’ve been working on.
So come for a ride!

Japan Cycling Tours – Now Live
We’re incredibly excited to have officially launched two distinct cycling tours in Japan, each offering a unique way to experience this remarkable country.
Our premium, longer-format tour begins in Hiroshima and is designed for riders seeking a deeper, more immersive journey — combining exceptional cycling, cultural highlights, outstanding food, and carefully selected accommodation.
We also offer a tour focused on the iconic Shimanami Kaido cycling path, widely regarded as one of the world’s great rides. Linking islands across the Seto Inland Sea, this tour is all about spectacular coastal cycling, seamless infrastructure, and unforgettable scenery.
Both tours showcase why Japan is such a special cycling destination, and we can’t wait to welcome our first guests.
South Australia Even Better
Our South Australia cycling tour continues to evolve, and we’re thrilled with the latest enhancements. This tour now includes two nights in beautiful Hahndorf, staying at the premium Hahndorf Apartments, along with riding the newly extended Amy Gillett Trail and a selection of outstanding Adelaide Hills routes.
We’re also pleased to confirm that 2026 and 2027 South Australia tour dates are now available, giving guests the opportunity to plan well ahead for this much-loved experience.
Sri Lanka – Coming Soon
We’re currently finalising plans for an exciting new Sri Lanka cycling tour, with departures planned between December and March for the 2026/27 season.
These initial departures will be very limited, as we intentionally roll out the tour in small numbers for its first season. Places will be tight, and availability will be restricted as we refine and perfect the experience.
If Sri Lanka is on your radar, we encourage you to register your interest by emailing us, and we’ll be in touch as soon as dates and details are released.
Your Tour de Vines Team Expands
We’re delighted to welcome Karen to the Tour de Vines team (in the middle). With her arrival, our core team now includes (from the right) myself, Marcus, Karen, Erin and Chris Hall — a passionate and experienced group working together to deliver memorable cycling holidays and outstanding guest experiences.
A Better Booking Experience
We’ve recently gone live with a new booking and tour management system, allowing us to offer guests access to a customer portal.
This new system makes it easier for you to update personal details, make payments, review itineraries, and access key information — providing fast, simple access as and when you need it.
New E-Bikes
We’re updating our e-bike fleet over the coming months, following a successful trial of the Merida Espresso e-bikes in Tasmania, which received excellent feedback from guests. These high-quality bikes will continue to roll out across our tours, ensuring comfort, reliability, and an even better riding experience.
