Tasmania is in the midst of a tourism boom, fuelled by art, history and nature.

MONA now outranks the TATE Gallery in London according to Lonely Planet.  Cradle Mountain has become a nature lovers paradise.  And for a touch of the past, the history of Port Arthur is moving,  or the less sombre but quaint town of Richmond with Australia's oldest bridge should not be missed.

Cycling tours in Tasmania are also growing in popularity.  Open spaces, developing rail trails and mountain bike parks such as Derby, have seen the arrival of a growing band of riders.
