This is a one off exclusive Easter Long Weekend departure, with the group size strictly capped due to limited accommodation.

The tour schedule in brief is:

• Friday 3rd April, 2026. Arrival Beechworth. Overnight.
• Saturday 4th April, 2026. Ride to Milawa. Return to Beechwroth. Overnight.
• Sunday 5th April 2026. Ride to Myrtleford. Overnight
• Monday 6th April 2026. Ride to Bright, overnight back in Myrtelford.
• Tuesday 7th April 2026. Morning return transfer to Beechworth or train station, or airport.

Starting at $1,549pp with pretty much everything included.

Extras are available and can be booked online below, and are:

• Bike Hire, choose from Trek FX (150) or Electric assist bike (300)
• Extra night accommodation pre or post (strictly s.t availability due to Easter) at 200 per room per night
• Pick up and transfers from Wangaratta station $100pp (each way if also wanting drop off)
• Albury airport transfers $150 (per trip so if a group is divided by the number of guests).
• Vline tickets from Melbourne to Wangaratta return with pick up and drop off transfers 180pp

How do I get to the start of this tour?

This tour starts and ends in Beechworth, in north-east Victoria.

Drive: Beechworth is approximately a 285km, 3-hour drive north of Melbourne following the Hume Highway.

Flights: A number of airlines fly to Albury from Melbourne, Brisbane & Sydney, 45 minutes from
Beechworth.

Train: There is a V/Line service to Wangaratta from Melbourne.
Ask about our transfer service from Albury Airport and Wangaratta Station (charges apply).

What is the accommodation like?

You will stay in 3-star motel-style accommodation with your own ensuite. Prices are based on two sharing in twin or double rooms (please request twin share if preferred).

Single rooms are available and enjoy your own room with an ensuite for each of the 4 nights.

Are there meals included?

Most meals are included, and we carefully select the restaurants and venues for cuisine and ambience, and favour those that use local produce. We are happy to arrange for our restaurants to cater for specific dietary requirements and allergies etc., where notified in advance. Please note: Restaurants and wineries mentioned in this itinerary are subject to change due to operational reasons, and your guide will advise of any venue changes should this occur.

Are bikes available to hire, including E-bikes?

Yes, Tour de Vines has a fleet of well-maintained and serviced bikes, and if you hire from us, you are covered by our Repair or Replace guarantee, so you're tour is not interrupted with any bike issues which may occur.

You have a choice of bikes to hire as follows:

Regular Bikes

Trek (hybrid cross bar) FX with disc brakes, water bottle holders (water bottle included in your Tour Kit), rear racks with small panniers for carrying incidentals and comfy seats.

Electric Assist Bikes

We have a choice of Trek FX Ebikes or Velectrix Urban upright style e-bikes.  Both are ideal for cycling the Murray to Mountains rail trail and are very comfortable.
