Group tours depart select weekends from October to May and do book out well in advance. Bike hire is available (can be booked online below or ask for details), as follows*:
- Trek FX hybrid $100 per tour
- Ebike Velectrix Urban $150 per tour
*hire bikes come with a replacement warranty, water bottle holders (cycling water bottle included in tour), rear rack & small pannier bags.

Meals
Meals are included as per the itinerary, and we carefully select the restaurants for cuisine and ambience, and favour those with a strong regional & local flavor where possible. We are happy to arrange for our restaurants to cater for specific dietary requirements and allergies etc. where notified in advance.
Bikes and Equipment
We provide lightweight alloy-framed Trek ‘hybrid’ touring bicycles with 24 indexed gears, fully equipped with rear rack, pannier bags and water bottle. Our guides will generally be on hand to fix punctures and minor mechanical problems. All bikes are meticulously maintained and we keep a wide range of sizes. Helmets are available but we always recommend BYO if you can, and sizing and fit are quite personal; Electric assist bikes are also available.
Guides and Backup
You have the services of a local guide cycling with you. A support bus carries all luggage and will always be available for anyone at any point during the day. If, for instance, you want to take a day off the bike, or if a particular day seems a little hard, the bus will take you for as long or as little as you wish it. The guides are enthusiastic experts on the local area and will be able to sort out any problems or special requests that you might have.
Are e-bikes available?
You are welcome to BYO (bring your own) bike or to hire from our quality range of bikes.
Choose from 27 gear Trek FX hybrid bikes, a joy to ride. Or enjoy the fun of an e-bike.
What is the group size?
The group size is strictly limited to 10 guests, plus your guide. Weekend dates do fill up, so make sure you book early on the scheduled departures.
Are meals included?
Most meals are included in your tour, as follows:
- Friday night dinner
- Saturday morning breakfast with hot drinks (coffee/tea/chai)
- Sumptuous platter and wine tasting lunch at Gapsted
- Sunday morning full breakfast
- Sunday winery lunch with wine tastings
There is a lot of food included in your tour!

Accommodation is central, good-quality ensuite hotel rooms.
